The bar and restaurant area catches your eye with a welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out and grab a drink. Spacious dining options provide a comfy spot to enjoy meals that hit the mark for taste and portion sizes.
The temperature in the room felt stifling, with a radiator situation that seemed broken. Despite opening the windows, traffic noise turned into an all-night affair, making it tough to catch some Zs. A lack of air circulation added to the discomfort, as well as the tight space that felt cramped. The provided map for local walks could use a bit of an update. getting lost while trying to stick to the route wasn't quite the adventure I had in mind.

Had a great time with friends! We visited the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and Electric Theatre, both were awesome. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable. It’s a perfect base for exploring and enjoying the local charm. Definitely recommend trying the pub food too!
I experienced a bit of noise from the rooms above, which made it tough to relax at times. It would be great if they could improve soundproofing.

Had a blast with friends! We visited the nearby Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and Electric Theatre, both great spots. Our room was comfy and clean. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was enjoyable. Perfect for unwinding after our outings.
The only downside was the somewhat noisy environment. You could hear chatter from neighboring rooms, which disrupted our relaxation. Soundproofing could be improved.

The king room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with friendly staff who efficiently explained the amenities. Dining options were delightful, particularly the tasty muffins at breakfast. the inn clearly requires significant updates, especially in the bathrooms. With outdated fixtures and limited equipment in the rooms, it detracted from the otherwise enjoyable experience.

Lovely spot with great food
We stayed for 2 nights and had a blast! The pub is super cute with amazing hanging baskets. We enjoyed a fab meal in the garden by the river. Everything was delicious, especially the plowman's lunch—it was packed! Only issue was the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty sometimes.
